25th evening i left sibu! :D Esmond and joyce sent me off at the airport. haha.. mom cried.. =X and ahem ahem.. well.. i was okay.. leaving with a heavy heart.. but stil excited about the new journey of life !! :D arrived Miri at about 6sth.. and we're blessed to have a christian taxi driver, Uncle Eric, who's willing to bring Vivien, Kuei Feng and I with TOO MANY luggages.. while the first driver rejected us.. He was ultra friendly and helpful!!!! We arrived Kingwood Inn after that.. it was.. um.. Old and... (better left unsaid.. =X) ahaha.. but it's cheap.. RM95 so.. no complaints.. haha.. Well.. 3 of us dined, shopped a bit.. and had fun fooling around the mall.. and....*fast forward* Next morning, 4am..*door slams* and i was awake!! haha... Vivien, in her baju kurung walked out of the bathroom. (yea.. we had to wear kurung already -.-)haha.. Yes! she's ready already!! haha.. So, Kuei Feng and I reluctantly woke up.. i had a great devotion that morning while Kuei Feng was in the bathroom.. :D After packing.. about 5:15am.. *handpohone rings* Uncle Eric called to wake us up and told us he'll be there soon.. hahaa.. early!!*fast forward* We flied from Miri to Labuan at 7am++.. Arrived at the Labuan Matriculation College at 8am++................
I was SHOCKED.. it was BIG, NICE, NEW.... and.. out of my expectation!!haha.. After registering.. we moved to our hostels.. i was allocated at Block C 4th floor.. Yes.. 4th floor!!!! ahahaa... I had to moved my luggage (20.3kg), a hand luggage and a sling bag up the stairs!!!! (thanks Sii Ying for helping) But... We nearly died... haha..It was torturing!! ahaha... My room is not bad la.. Better than I thought (so much better than MTS's =X)..
I want to upload more pictures.. but.. apparently... the computer here is super ultra slow.. that... i cannot do so.. so sorry..i'll do so when i have the chance..
Well.. i have three roomies.. hehe.. 1 kadazan(Jessica) and two malays (Ilma and Azi)..They are VERI cute, friendly and cheerful.. HYPER most of the time.. laughss.. they speak super fast malay and they roll their tongues!! haha.. I hardly catch what they say so most of the time, they have to slow down.. and of course.. i speak cacat-ed malay and bahasa rojak (malay+ english) haha.. I love my roomies.. they are helpful.. Azi and Ilma are PDT students.. so this is their second year here.. so i learnt almost everything from them.. their friends are hyper too.. Whale, Rin.. and.. many of them..We talk a lot.. haha..Thank God for these wonderful roomies.. hahaa...Hwa Lin is just beside my room.. so cool.. :D Others are at different blocks.. T.T
Okay..food here... for the cafeteria nearest to my block... is expensive!! and.. thy do not look nice.. and yes.. they do not taste nice as well.. haha.. but.. i'll try to learn to get used to them.. you cant find non-spicy and non-oily food here.. haha.. well well..... jia you.. pats..
The facilities here.. badminton court, tennis court, mini stadium, basketball court, soccer field.. and many many others... too many to name them all out, plus i havent actually finish exploring.. because the campus is too big.. which becomes a problem to us too.. we have to walk so much from a place to another.. Good exercise though.. haha.. well well.. the facilities here.. i would say they are not bad..
The weather here is.... KILLING us.. burning hot.. and wearing baju kurung under the sun is no fun at all.. haha.. it's soo hot.. and we sweat a lot here!! well.. the attire here is kinda troublesome for us.. collar shirt, long pants.. even outside lecture hall..it's like.. you are in your short pants in your room when someone asked you to meet her or him up at the cafeteria.. and you have to change long pants before doing so.. pretty troubling and uncomfortable.. haha.. no choice...
And guess wad.. although i'm missing out the 3 other camps in Sibu.. (congrats to my juniors for their 4th position in drill competition :D for uniform camp!) i just joined a church camp here from 29th may-1st june!! hehe.. at a methodist church.. :D cool isnt it? God does provide.. but yes.. we'll be having holiday from 29th-2nd june.. i was wondering.. what is the point of coming here so early? when you dont have class and all that... (yes.. lessons havent start..)..haha..
Oh ya.. Vivien left us.. T.T she decided that she prefers form six.. so she's going back to Sibu on 31st May!! so.. she'll be back to L6s3 =D.. wish you all the best.. Vivien.. WE WILL MISS YOU SOOOO MUCH... >.<>
Well.. i better stop.. (RM 3 for an hour!! sooo expensive la) life's good here.. i'm adapting well.. i'm happy with things here.. Life is boring here though.. no computer.. no TV.. nothing much to do since lessons haven start.. but i get to have more time to mix around and talk with new peoople.. and also i can spend more time with God here with less distractions.. :D hehe.. I'm fine.. healthy and doing ok.. so dont worry about me!! I'll survive.. it isnt as bad as i thought.. hahahaa.. I do miss home (dad called five times on the first day.. cool!!you miss me right? haha).. hehe.. but i'm coping with the life here.. hehe..
